The Living Earth Council promotes and initiates actions to benefit our local environment. Through community connections, public discussion and the exploration of ideas, LEC is a catalyst for sustainable change in Truro and surrounding communities.

We have a wonder-fall series of events coming up!
October 3: Leave the Leaves
- Pick up a “Leave the Leaves” yard sign at the Truro Farmers’ Market from 8am to 1pm
- From 1 to 1:30pm at the Truro Library, learn about the insects in your garden and yard with Dalhousie Agricultural Campus student Alexe
October 17: Care and Repair Market
- 10am to 2pm at the Truro Library
- Get help with mending, bicycle maintenance, and more!
- Colchester Waste Management will be there with their annual Halloween costume swap
