March 24 next public meeting!

Our next public meeting is on Thurs, March 24 at St Andrews United church (corner of King and Duke).  The potluck will start at 6 pm and the meeting will start at 7 pm.  You are welcome to attend either one or both.  We will arrange to have child care available.

Building on the success of last year’s sustainable business session, we are pleased to invite you to an informal discussion with Bob Brown representing Casey Concrete and John Surette of Thermocell. Bob will be discussing his partnership with last year’s presenter from Kohler about how they use Kohler’s waste glass in cement manufacturing.  John will be talking about Thermocell’s zero waste operations, including how they use old library books for insulation.
