Sustainability and Spirituality

May 24 – 26

with Marty Janowitz

at Dorje Denma Ling

Much of the dysfunction of modern civilization is based on a material culture driving separation and an alienation from the living earth. Marty Janowitz.

Diverse spiritual traditions recognize that humankind is not separate but an integrated part of nature. Exploring sustainability and spirituality in an integrated way, we will delve into the foundations of sacred activism. Together, we will explore our interconnectedness with each other and each other’s strengths, and with the living environment and its richness. And we will look into how that interconnectedness informs our values and actions as individuals, families and communities.

Please share this invitation with your members and colleagues so we can benefit by joining together with like-minded activists, environmentalists, educators, organic farmers, and the just plain curious.
