Hand Mowers’ Weekend August 24, 25: Ross Farm Museum, New Ross. Mowing “school” and “old scythe repair” Saturday, Aug. 24. Learn to mow grass and make hay with a scythe. School scythes available or bring in that old scythe gramps left hanging in the barn. Take part in the 10th Annual Maritime Hand Mowing Championships Sunday Aug. 25.
